How To Install Your Art Rail System

Installing Art Hanging SystemInstalling a easy rail:
Decide how long you want your system to be, and how many rails you'll need for the job. Cut the rail to size if necessary.
Drill six holes along the length of the rail's intended location – one for each 12 inches of track. It is best if you can center them on the studs.
Insert anchors (if not centering on studs), then install screws and system locators.
If you are hanging more than one rail, use a system connector to hook the two ends together.
Click your rail into place!
If you're installing a classic or ceiling rail, the process is just as simple. Mark where the holes need to be on the wall, drill the holes according to your specific rail's size instructions, insert the anchors, put the track into place, and install the screws into the anchors.

Installing a wall-mounted picture rail up along the ceiling line is not recommended – the ceiling line is often wavy and uneven, which will cause unsightly gaps and shadows along your rail.

We recommend using a level when marking for your screw holes so you can be sure to get the track nice and even. Snapping a chalk line can also be helpful.
